The National School Breakfast Programme
Our school has joined the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the
charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.
As a NSBP School we are pleased to offer a healthy school breakfast, available to all free school and pupil premium children, and enjoy the benefits that brings, with children settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day.
No need to book, just turn up between 8.00am and 8.30am every school day.
Whole school Christmas Dinner is Thursday 13th December
As this is a huge event the kitchens need to know in advance who has booked. Therefore all bookings need to be completed and paid for by the 3rd December.
There are no jackets or baguettes provided on this day.
To assist those who do not normally pay and have school dinner, we have reduced the minimum dinner payment to £4.20 for 1 week starting Monday 19th November 2018.
Please book and pay via gateway as usual. Universal and free school meals need only book as normal.
Parents with siblings can make one payment to cover all their children and then we can transfer monies to other accounts as appropriate.
Finally please do not book after the 3rd December as a dinner will not be provided and you may still be charged.
From the 1st October not only will we be paperless but cashless too.
This means that if you have to pay for school dinners you will no longer to able to bring cash on the day.
Dinners have to prebooked and paid for via the Gateway/App.
The system goes live on Sat 22nd September in readiness for parents to view, prebook and pay for the dinners their children will want the following week.
You can book on the day, up to 9am if you wish but if you do not receive free meals, monies should be in your child’s account to allow the booking.
As we have to pay for each deposit, the minimum payment is now £10.00. Monies sit in your child’s ‘dinner account’ and is only deducted when a dinner is booked by you or if your child does not have a packed lunch and we have to order them a dinner.
If you really do not have a debit card, smart phone, access to a computer or bank account and you have to use cash. We will issue you with a paypoint voucher that can be paid at many supermarkets, garages and convenience stores. The money will appear in your child’s gateway account the following day.
Due to an extraordinary meeting called by the Diocese there will be no staff available to run After School clubs on Tuesday 12th June and they are therefore cancelled.
We apologise for inconvenience this may cause.
