Our next and the fourth Inset Day has been set as the Monday 1st June.
The fifth will be in July. We will let you know that date as soon as it is set.

Those with good attendance have been entered into our raffle and the winners will be coming home with their prize, A £10 WH Smith voucher shortly.
Christmas Dinner Day
Wednesday 18th December
The whole school join in and celebrate by having Christmas Dinner together in the dining hall today.
Its a real party atmosphere with music and crackers!
However as it is a huge event for our kitchen staff, they require you to prebook your child’s dinner by Friday 6th December.
There are no other alternatives offered today other than the main or vegetarian. (Even though these will show as available on the app)
If you book after the 6th December(Final list handed to kitchen on this day) you may still be charged but your child will not receive a dinner.
If you have not booked by the 6th December you will need to provide your child with a packed lunch in all circumstances.
Children with a packed lunch still get to participate with the other children and join in the fun!
Children in Need/ Funds for Denny
Friday the 15th November is Children in need day.
WE have decided to raise funds for Denny

The children can wear their own clothes or anything Pudsey related in exchange for a donation to one of the causes.
If you have a preference on where your donation is credited please place funds in an envelope and clearly mark either Children in Need or Denny.
The National School Breakfast Programme
Our school has joined the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the
charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.
As a NSBP School we are pleased to offer a healthy school breakfast, available to all free school and pupil premium children, and enjoy the benefits that brings,with children settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day.
No need to book, just turn up between 8.00am and 8.30am every school day.
Cashless from the 1st October 2018
From the 1st October not only will we be paperless but cashless too.
This means that if you have to pay for school dinners you will no longer to able to bring cash on the day.
Dinners have to prebooked and paid for via the Gateway/App.
The system goes live on Sat 22nd September in readiness for parents to view, prebook and pay for the dinners their children will want the following week.
You can book on the day, up to 9am if you wish but if you do not receive free meals, monies should be in your child’s account to allow the booking.
As we have to pay for each deposit, the minimum payment is now £10.00. Monies sit in your child’s ‘dinner account’ and is only deducted when a dinner is booked by you or if your child does not have a packed lunch and we have to order them a dinner.
If you really do not have a debit card, smart phone, access to a computer or bank account and you have to use cash. We will issue you with a paypoint voucher that can be paid at many supermarkets,garages and convenience stores. The money will appear in your child’s gateway account the following day.
